Alexis works with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children in our Melville, NY office.

Alexis believes that strong, healthy relationships can have a meaningful impact on our overall well-being. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families better understand one another, strengthen communication, work through conflict, and build healthier, more connected relationships. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a space where each person feels heard, respected, and supported.

Alexis is currently completing her graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hofstra University. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals, children, and families at the Saltzman Community Services Center, Hofstra University’s training clinic. She has also facilitated an after-school sibling support program through the Family and Children’s Association, helping children strengthen sibling relationships, improve communication, and develop healthier connections.

Alexis works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, family conflict, communication difficulties, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, and life transitions. She particularly enjoys helping couples and families recognize patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection and find new ways to communicate, understand one another, and move forward together.

Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems principles, person-centered therapy, and strengths-based interventions. Rather than focusing only on an individual concern, Alexis considers the relationships, experiences, and family dynamics that may influence how clients think, feel, communicate, and respond to one another.

Clients can expect Alexis to bring warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity into the therapy room. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where difficult conversations can happen safely and every person’s perspective is valued. Whether working with an individual, couple, or family, Alexis helps clients recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping and communication skills, and work toward meaningful goals.

Alexis believes every person’s story matters and that relationships can be a powerful source of connection, support, and growth. She is committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges while building stronger relationships with themselves and the people who matter most.

Alexis works with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children in our Melville, NY office.
