Art therapy is the blending of art-making with psychology: Allowing an individual the opportunity to engage in the creative process in a healing and therapeutic manner. Art therapy is about process and creativity through the use of different modalities to ease stress, take a break from the everyday expectations, meet goals, find a path towards self-expression, develop coping skills, improve socialization, and build self-esteem / self-awareness.
