Laura, LMHC, is a seasoned mental health professional with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental, acquired, and psychiatric disabilities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, providing her with a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of human behavior.
With extensive expertise in behavior analysis and intervention, Laura has spent much of her career collaborating within multidisciplinary clinical teams. She has evaluated the effectiveness of psychiatric medication regimens for individuals with diverse medical and psychiatric diagnoses and brings substantial experience in areas such as eating disorders, recovery, grief, and gender dysphoria.
In her therapeutic work, Laura blends traditional talk therapy with a humanistic, client-centered approach. She thoughtfully incorporates mindfulness practices as well as cognitive-behavioral, acceptance, and commitment-based techniques to help clients gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
Laura is dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and work toward improved emotional well-being.
