Sila works with adults, teens, and children offering individual counseling in person and via telehealth. Sila offers in person at our New York office and virtual in New York and Florida.

Sila is a dedicated therapist with a strong passion for helping individuals navigate their unique journeys. Currently pursuing her Masters of Social Work (LMSW) at Stony Brook University, Sila’s upbringing with immigrant parents has given her a deep appreciation for the complexities of dual identities, whether it be cultural, spiritual, religious, or one’s immigration status.

Sila creates a safe and welcoming space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals using evidence-based interventions like motivational interviewing and self-paced methods like art. With a diverse background, she offers a range of therapeutic styles, drawing from her experiences as an ABA therapist, where she worked with children and families and as camp counselor for Camp Good Grief and received a certificate of completion a bereavement training for adolescents and children from East End Hospice. Sila also completed an internship at Babylon and West Babylon library, where she engaged with kids and teens through mindfulness art programs and assisted adults with social referrals.

Sila specializes in providing holistic care that recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, with expertise in working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. She incorporates mindfulness, art, and creative expressions to promote healing and self-discovery.

Whether you prefer in-person or Zoom sessions, Sila is here to support your journey towards a better life, with availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
